# 1,000 a day to a Microsoft-heavy list

When your prospects are enterprise, the fleet inverts: Azure carries most of it.

**1,000 sends a day needs 370 inboxes across 11 domains, costing $436 a month** — prewarmed, sized for a list that is 25% Google, 70% Microsoft and 5% other. That is 22,000 sends a month across 22 sending days.

## The pools

- **Azure** — 700 sends/day from 350 inboxes across 4 domains, at 2/day each and 100 per domain. $276/month.
The 70% on Microsoft 365, Outlook and Exchange

- **Google Workspace** — 300 sends/day from 20 inboxes across 7 domains, at 15/day each and 3 per domain. $160/month.
The 25% on Google, plus the 5% elsewhere

## Right for

Selling into enterprise, finance, manufacturing, healthcare, government-adjacent — anywhere Microsoft 365 is the default and Google is the exception.

## Wrong for

SMB and startup lists, which skew the other way. Check before assuming: the mix is measurable and guessing it is what this recipe exists to prevent.

## In the sequencer

Lead with the Azure pool and keep the Google pool for what it is actually for. The common mistake is running an enterprise list from Google inboxes because that is what was already bought.

## Why these numbers

Microsoft recipients are the harder half of cold email, and sending to them from Microsoft infrastructure is the single cheapest thing you can do about it. Tenant-to-tenant mail is treated differently from mail arriving from outside the ecosystem.

A gateway in front of the recipient — Mimecast, Proofpoint, Barracuda — changes what you are actually sending to, and is not always visible as Microsoft in the MX. Check the split rather than inferring it from company size.

The whole fleet costs $436 a month for 1,000 sends a day, which is less than the balanced recipe at the same volume. Azure density is the reason, not a discount.

No reserve capacity is included beyond rounding up. [Measure your own recipient mix →](https://warminboxes.com/esp-calculator)
