Automated mailbox reconnections
Google and Microsoft built inboxes to be used by people, not sequencers, so mailboxes disconnect all the time. Every Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and Azure mailbox we deliver comes with automated reconnections: when one drops off your sequencer, our technicians bring it back, and the sequence keeps sending.
What happens when a mailbox disconnects
- 01The mailbox’s OAuth token is revoked or lapses, or the provider challenges the account
- 02The disconnect is picked up on the workspace’s reconnection monitor
- 03Our technicians re-authorise the mailbox, answering the phone or SMS check if Google asks for one
- 04The mailbox is connected again and the sequence carries on sending
What disconnects a mailbox
A revoked or lapsed token
OAuth refresh tokens are revoked when the mailbox password changes or an admin removes the sequencer’s app, and they lapse on their own schedule. Either way the sequencer just stops.
An account challenge
Providers lock or challenge accounts, in cold email usually after a burst of sending trips a suspicious-activity check, and Google often wants a phone number to prove a person owns the mailbox.
Reconnecting is a person’s time
Signing in again through the OAuth screen takes a minute per mailbox and a phone per check. Fifty in a week is someone’s week. That is the part we take off you.
Which mailboxes
Google Workspace
Re-authorised, with Google’s phone verification answered by our technicians.
Microsoft 365
Re-authorised when a token is revoked or the account is challenged.
Azure
The same, for mailboxes on the Azure tenants we deliver.
Turning it on
- It comes with every Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and Azure mailbox we deliver.
- It is controlled per workspace: the reconnection monitor in the app, or over the API, PUT /v1/portal/workspaces/{id}/monitors with {"reconnection": true}.
What it does not do
- It covers mailboxes WarmInboxes delivered. Mailboxes bought elsewhere are reconnected by whoever administers them.
- A mailbox the provider has suspended is not a reconnection. Support works through it with you, and the 7-day placement replacement guarantee covers newly delivered inboxes.
